SUMMARY:Juneteenth Celebration GALA and GOLF Classic - East Saint Louis
DESCRIPTION:In 2021, Juneteenth became a Federal holiday in the United States commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans.The holiday marks the anniversary of the final announcement proclaiming the freedom for slaves in Texas on June 19, 1865. Our Annual Juneteenth GOLF Classic and Celebration GALA is a charity event that includes a morning golf tournament and evening GALA of food, drinks, music silent auction and more. The net proceeds from both events are donated to underserved golf programs throughout the Metro East region.
