DESCRIPTION:With increasing priority given to mental health by SocialWorks students, in 2019 SocialWorks embarked on the My State of Mind (MSOM) initiative – a free website where Chicagoans can research, explore, and contact wellness programs throughout Chicago and Cook County. To date, My State of Mind has over 2.9k wellness programs ranging in the modalities of technology, movement, mindfulness, community, arts, and clinical practices. Join SocialWorks’ Founder and Chairman, Chance The Rapper, Thursday, May 25th to learn about all things SocialWorks. Chance will speak on the state of Chicago, SocialWorks intentionality and growth within its programming, post-pandemic problems and solutions, and what’s next for SocialWorks as the organization is entering its 8 year!
