DESCRIPTION:This is Community.  This is Culture.  This is Preservation.Every single Monday night we meet at the Friends Meetinghouse at Cambridge and we play West African rhythms together and drop deep into the trance of drum medicine.  It is a joyful practice that has given me a whole new community of people that have truly become FAMILY!  There's something about that drum...i tell you.  The medicine is deep.  Come and join us!  Led by teachers Toussaint Liberator and Audrey Diallo, Stone Of Hope is a class for all levels that explores the components of west african djembe music and finds the medicine in those trance inducing rhythms of the drum.  We have been deepening our practice of late learning more about the culture and ethnic groups behind the music.  This is really becoming something that you want to experience an d make a part of your week.
