DESCRIPTION:During the 2024 Democratic National Convention, the National Urban League in partnership with Hip-Politics are creating an epicenter of discussion, connection, and celebration of this historic moment. On Tuesday, August 20th, we will be transforming the Chicago Firehouse into the Hip Politics Culture and Content House, offering sessions that will explore critical issues at the intersection of hip-hop culture, civic engagement, and voting.

\nWaiting To Inhale: A Climate Justice Conversation: This session, led by CLIMATE POWER, will address the intersection of environmental issues and social justice, focusing on the disproportionate impact of climate change on marginalized communities. This discussion will also discuss the progress on environmental policy that has been accomplished in the past 3 years. This session aims to empower participants with knowledge and tools to drive equitable environmental change.
