Since 2012, Imagine Englewood if (IEi) has organized Greater Englewood Unity Day for residents, community members, and stakeholders to clean up and celebrate the growing power of collaboration in the community. Unity Day was created out of two beliefs (1) Our youth and families deserve a clean community and (2) individually we can achieve great things, but together we can achieve a lot more.
Over the years, this event has brought together over 2,000 volunteers representing over 200 organizations to show the strength, power and love that exist in the Greater Englewood community. With the spirit of IEi and Unity Day founder, Jean Carter-Hill, we look forward to having everyone unite to make Greater Englewood a more beautiful place to live, work, and play.
