Audition Notice: Calling all Chicago-based solo artists and bands!
Be the next winner of the 2023 Chicago Made Music Showcase
Prizes include: Paid performance opportunities at DCASE-produced events, one-on-one career-building consultations from industry experts, and one artist/band will win a $10,000 prize!
Auditions Dates: (One slot per band/artist sign up deadline 9/6)
Mon, 9/11 from 6-10pm: Tribe Supper Club 1239 W. Lake Street (Bands and Tracks)
Tues, 9/12, 6-10pm: Hue 67 E. Cermak Rd. (Tracks only)
Wed, 9/13, 6-10pm: Avondale Music Hall 3336 N. Milwaukee Ave (Bands and Tracks)
20 artists and bands will be selected to participate in the Semi-Finals at the House of Blues Foundation Room, September 25. 15 Finalists will be selected to perform at the Final Showcase at the Chicago Cultural Center’s Claudia Cassidy Theater, Saturday, Oct 21 where the winners will be announced.
All solo artists and bands must audition in-person to be considered for a slot in the Final Showcase. Auditions are free of charge.
A panel of industry professionals will judge all auditions based on stage presence, voice, originality, and creativity.
