Our 40 of 40 Awards recognize and honor the exceptional achievements of individuals who have made remarkable contributions to their respective fields. These trailblazers inspire us with their innovation, dedication, and vision for a better future. Being “1 of 1” typically means that there is only one instance or unique version of something. It can refer to a limited edition item, a custom creation, or a singular occurrence that sets it apart from others. That’s what our 40 of 40 represents. 40 of the most impactful 40 Black women professionals in Chicago.
