CAMP: The Live Session at Shanklin Hall
Shanklin Hall, Washington, DC
R&B/Soul artist, CAMP, is a D(M)V native, LA based singer/songwriter. He has written for and toured with artists such as Robin Thicke, Justin Timberlake, Diddy, Chris Brown and Jill Scott.
CAMP, as an independent artist has built his repertoire and new label (INVS), brick by brick and continues to expand with the upcoming release of his anticipated summer EP entitled “SummerBaby”. His label, Invisible Institution (aka INVS) was created and derives from the “invisible churches” that were created by U.S. slaves to establish a culture of resistance. Similarly, CAMP aims to challenge industry standards by prioritizing the preservation of music creation by artists of the same background and origins.
“The Live Session” will serve as a homecoming performance of sorts for CAMP that also spotlights some of area’s finest musical talent. Special guests include Brandon Woody (MD), Mo Woods (VA) and Tre Way and the Now Generation (PA) to name a few! It will be an evening brought to you by genuine artistry and an authentic love of creating music.
