BLACC Community Mixer

If you're an artist looking to get connected to resources or if you have resources that you can connect to our artists, this event is for you!

Come join ILA Creative Studio for a night of community building and creativity as we celebrate our community and the progress of our digital platform, BLACC!

Hosted by one of Hyde Park's newest restaurants, Mahari, this mixer is sponsored by Vusa, Bayab, and Hennessey with a special raffle for two concert tickets from our resource partner LiveNation at the end of the night.

This is an in-person event by ILA Creative Studio to support the 100 to 100 campaign for BLACC, our digital community resource platform. BLACC is a web-based platform for artists looking to connect with others and support each other through resource sharing. The goal of BLACC in 2025 is to connect 100 artists with 100 resources. This mixer will allow for Chicago's creative community to gather and ask questions to the ILA team about BLACC and even join the digital community themselves!

This event will be held at Mahari at 1504 E. 55th Street within the Hyde Park Shopping Center Courtyard.

Each ticket and/or donation supports ILA Creative Studio's goals of supporting underrepresented and underresourced artists in Chicago. Every ticket provides entry to the venue as well as one drink ticket to be exchanged at the bar and one raffle ticket for the LiveNation raffle at the end of the night. The bar will be open for the duration of the event along with light food options.
