The Black Alumni Ball will make its debut in Houston, Texas on Saturday June 17th, 2023.
Juneteenth Holiday Weekend Celebration

About the event:
The Black Alumni Ball was created to foster connections between HBCU and PWI Black graduates. The event started in Washington DC in 2015 and since inception we have hosted over 15,000 people in 10 events between Washington, DC and Charlotte, NC. The Black Alumni Ball Pillars are to UNIFY, UPLIFT and ADVANCE Black and Brown professionals through social, civic and entertainment engagement. There is extreme value when combining resources, knowledge and fun into one experience.

The Experience: The Black Alumni Ball is a black tie event that brings black graduates of HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) together with black graduates from PWI (Predominantly White Institutions) for an evening of engagement and entertainment.

The Pre-Reception:  The evening kicks off with an intimate Pre-Reception experience honoring Black Alumni Influencer Class of 2023. This Experience gives our guests the opportunity to network and build quality relationships, celebrate the honorees of the evening, and enjoy some Hors d'Oeuvres and Open Bar drinks.

The Main Event: The Black Alumni Ball main event kicks off immediately after the pre-reception experience. This year we are hosting our event at the MAG, A modern art gallery that will also have Art displayed throughout the experience. The event will have entertainment from DJs, Host and  Live Bands sets throughout the evening.

The Venue:  Henke & Pillot  is a historical venue downtown Houston.

Black Alumni Influencer
The Black Alumni Influencer Program was created to highlight Non Profits, Change makers, business owners, graduates, and professionals within each city that our event is featured in. We use platform as a way to discuss important topics within our communities and to highlight the work that these individuals have put in to make their communities a better place to live, work and play. The Influencer program is open to anyone within the state of Texas but the city of Houston and surrounding cities will have precedent. Applications for the 2023 Black Alumni Influencer Program is now open
