Promoting Music Dance and Cultural Expression Through the Arts of the African Diaspora

Join us for an unforgettable journey into the vibrant traditions of West African dance and drumming, hosted by the award-winning global phenomenon, The Thiossane West African Dance Institute, at The Lincoln Theatre.

During this interactive one-hour session, Change Makers will:

Explore the rich significance of West African dance and music traditions.
Experiment with movement guided by expert instructors.
Gain a deeper understanding of the African diaspora in celebration of Black History Month.
Embrace wellness and warmth through the joy of movement during the winter season.

This unique experience is designed to inspire and connect our young Change Makers to a vital part of our shared heritage.

Please arrive by 11:00 AM, as the event will begin promptly at 11:30 AM.
