2240 Gallery presents a Identity Collage Workshop led by Lo Marie

This is a free introductory collage workshop to get to know the artist & explore mixed media. Cut & paste can go a long way, especially when you have a variety of materials to work with. Because there are endless possibilities 2 themes have been chosen to help direct your creative choices. Please free to bring any personal photos & other paper materials from home that you don’t mind cutting.

Theme | 2 Options:
• Self portrait - Instead of a traditional portrait - use colors, magazine images, text, photos, and a few special items from home to make a self portrait or rather a piece that feels represents who you are.
• Tell a story - Any story. Create a scene that reminds you of a memory,  a story someone else has told you before, a recollection of a dream, or even a reimagining of a want or fantasy.

Donations to cover costs & materials will be accepted by Artist day of.
