Terms of Attendance for Events Hosted by The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the National Black MBA Association® 

Professional Conduct and Dress Code: All attendees are expected to maintain a high standard of professional conduct and attire at our events. We strive to foster a respectful, inclusive environment that promotes networking and professional growth.

Prohibited Items: For the safety and comfort of all our guests, weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited at all event venues. Anyone found in possession of a weapon may be asked to leave immediately.

Dress Code and Display Messages: We encourage attire that is appropriate for a professional setting. Clothing displaying offensive language, symbols, or messages of hate is not permitted. We reserve the right to deny entry or remove any individual whose attire is deemed inappropriate or disruptive to the spirit of inclusivity and professionalism.

COVID-19 Policy: In light of ongoing health concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic, we ask all attendees to adhere to the following health and safety guidelines:

  • If you are feeling ill, have a fever, or a lingering cough, please wear a mask to protect yourself and others.
  • We encourage the use of masks and hand sanitizer, which will be available at the event.
  • Please follow all local health advisories and regulations regarding COVID-19.

Right to Deny Entry: The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the National Black MBA Association® reserves the right to deny entry or remove any individual from an event at any time. This includes behavior that is disruptive, threatening, or contrary to the principles of inclusivity and professional respect that our organization upholds.

Event Cancellation by Organizer

The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the National Black MBA Association® reserves the right to cancel any event due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond our control. In such cases, registrants will be notified as soon as possible and given the option to either transfer registration to a rescheduled date or a different event or receive a full refund.
