Cultivate Brunch
Join us for an afternoon of food and HBCU fellowship to support the next wave of HBCU students @ the Cultivate Brunch! This in-person event will be held at Shanklin Hall at 2325 18th St NW in Washington, DC, USA.
Indulge in a custom, special event menu designed by Shanklin Hall's chef with an eye toward modern brunch along with premium cocktails.
But it's not just about the food. The Cultivate Brunch is a wonderful opportunity to connect with like-minded iHBCU alumni and supporters who share a passion for good food and good company. Engage in lively conversations, make new friends, and build lasting connections.
All door and ticket proceeds will benefit the Cultivate program:
FTC is launching 'Cultivate', a concept to consumer design and entrepreneurial merchandising program targeting select students.
Through the program, students will learn the art of merchandise design, source product, grow inventory, execute marketing campaigns, and launch an online store. Each cohort will design and launch a capsule collaboration with FTC.
The FTC Cultivate Scholarship will be established to provide financial assistance to prospective college students, who will pursue a degree related to fashion design, merchandising, or e-commerce. From students who are studying to be designers or stylists to those interested in retail and merchandising—every high school junior, and senior student will be encouraged to apply.
So mark your calendars and get ready to indulge in a delightful morning at the Cultivate Brunch! We can't wait to welcome you at Shanklin Hall in Washington, DC, USA. See you there!
