For almost 20 years, the Debauchery Ball has lived in a quiet yet infamous anonymity, ON PURPOSE. It is the best-known event that you've never heard of. With the release of the self-titled documentary, the DBall boldly revealed itself to the world. Now as the series continues to grow and more components manifest, you are welcomed in to view, PERMISSION: the photographic exhibit, a glimpse of what melanated people look like outside of the gaze of dominant society, where they feel safe, protected and celebrated.

On Sunday you are invited to come for a screening of the film and stay for a panel comprised of attendee of the Debauchery Ball from very different walks of life. Sunday's panel gives you the opportunity to ask those who have actually attended what their personal experience has been at some point of these past 19 years. ASK WHAT YOU WANT! Distinguishers Debauchers include Dr. Dee Ewunes, Sir Matthias Black, Osceola Muhammad, Summer Coleman, Enterpe and filmmaker David Weathersby!

When you enter a Discopoetry A.E.C./Debauchery Ball (DBall) event or program, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur.

By entering the event premises, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by the DBall and its affiliates and representatives. Images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote similar DBall events in the future, highlight the event and exhibit the capabilities of DBall. You release Discopoetry AEC, its officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or or sound recordings.

By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, web casting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, web casting, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by the DBall or the person or entity designated to do so by Discopoetry A.E.C.

You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering the event.
