The goal of the Edward E. Barnette Jr. Community Impact Scholarship Program is to recognize outstanding contributions to the community along the entire length of the STEM pipeline and, thus, throughout our membership. The scholarship supports the continued educational objectives within the High School NSBE Jr, Collegiate, and Professional member demographics. Previous recipients of this scholarship have been high school seniors aspiring to be engineers, collegiate engineering students, and Professional members seeking advance engineer degrees. These devoted members are active, excelling academically, succeeding professionally and impacting the community. They embody NSBE’s mission and the purpose of the Edward E. Barnett Jr. Community Impact Scholarship —the IMPACT Scholarship.

About the Venue

Ventanas is Atlanta’s premier event space with dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows which reveal a sweeping view of downtown and midtown Atlanta – a view that soars from Stone Mountain to Kennesaw Mountain. Perched atop the 14th and 15th stories of the Park Pavilion building in the city’s Centennial Park District, Ventanas offers 9,547 inspiring square feet of premier indoor and outdoor rooftop space across the street from Centennial Olympic Park, the Georgia Aquarium and the World of Coca-Cola. 

Parking

Ventanas is conveniently located atop the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Atlanta. There is a public parking deck connected to the building. We rarely run into the issue of not having enough parking; however, it can happen. 

• Self parking validations are $15 (6 hr) and $20 (12 hr).
• Valet validations are $20 (6 hr) and $40 (12 hr).

We do encourage the use of Uber/Lyft to the event. If you are a guest staying at this hotel and you have a car, you will incur overnight parking rates, not event parking rates.
