LADIES' NIGHT OUT...
An ol' school poetry set; just the poet, the mic and the people in a 21st Century upscale speakeasy bar.
To re-establish the grassroot poetry community with a weekly room that poets may continue to hone their
craft in front of an intimate audience and grow the art form back to a mainstream Chicago. The open-mic
poetry host is kweisi gharreau, Poet/NOMINEE for Chicago's Inaugural Poet Laureate.
The HUE, Happy Hour, 4P-7P. Cuisine, cocktails and conversation all evening.
Poets arrive by 6:30P to sign-up, open-mic poetry starts at 7:11P-9P.
