Indemnity Clause
By participating in any event, workshop, class, or any activity organized by GE Chamber Foundation and/or Greater Englewood Chamber of Commerce or utilizing any facilities or spaces owned, leased, or managed by GE Chamber Foundation and/or Greater Englewood Chamber of Commerce (collectively referred to as “activities”), you agree to the following terms:
Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge and understand that participation in the activities may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, or financial loss. You voluntarily assume all such risks.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GE Chamber Foundation and/or Greater Englewood Chamber of Commerce, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, volunteers, and representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs) arising out of or related to:
a. Your participation in the activities;
b. Any breach of these terms by you;
c. Any negligent, reckless, or intentional act or omission by you; or
d. Any damage or injury caused by you to any property or person during the activities.
Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and discharge the Released Parties from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising from or related to the Activities, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise.
Compliance with Rules and Regulations
You agree to comply with all rules, regulations, and instructions provided by the GE Chamber Foundation and/or the Greater Englewood Chamber of Commerce and its representatives during the activities.
Severability
If any provision of this clause is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
By participating in the activities, entering our premises, or hitting "submit," you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this indemnity clause.
