Black Boulevards LLC is a social venture created by Olatunji Oboi Reed and Patric McCoy.    

A Black bicycle tour, centering Black people, exploring the beauty of Black Chicago.  

The Hidden Gems tour is a 15-mile round trip cycling exploration of hidden gems on Chicago's South Lakefront Trail, from Steelworkers Park traveling North.  

This tour will fully immerse us in the beautiful natural areas and the stories of Black history in Chicago, using Chicago's South Lakefront Trail as our very own storytelling canvas.  

The South Lakefront Trail is a textured, layered, and multi-dimensional portal into another Chicago.  

A thorough exploration of these new lands require multiple dismounts, walking, climbing, and a healthy suspension of the fear for the unknown.  

The South Lakefront becomes our very own neighborhood for three hours, where we explore, socialize, and learn together.

This Black Boulevards bicycle tour centers Black folks and our experiences, is invite-only and non-transferable.

Space is limited, and purchase of registration is required. Snacks, refreshments, lunch, and ride support are all included with registration.  

* COVID-19 Information: Masks and social distancing are required and strictly enforced at this tour, for the comfort and safety of all. Those who are feeling ill or have any COVID symptoms should please stay home. We will have extra masks and hand sanitizer throughout the ride. We are stronger together, even when masked up and safely socially distancing apart.
