Celebrating the Journey, Empowering the Future!
It’s time to celebrate our future HBCU leaders! Join us for Northeast Ohio HBCU Bound Day 2025, a vibrant, community-centered event recognizing and uplifting 12th grade scholars from across Northeast Ohio who are committed to attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the fall of 2025.
This special day is all about honor, support, and connection as we come together to acknowledge these incredible students and prepare them for the journey ahead.
For Students & Families:
- Recognition Ceremony for HBCU-bound seniors.
- Mentor Matching support from College Now Greater Cleveland.
- Scholarship & College Transition Resources from the Cleveland Council of Black Colleges Alumni Association.
- Capacity-building sessions, giveaways, and more!
For the Community & Alumni:
- HBCU alumni from all over are invited to come out and welcome the next generation into the legacy.
- Your presence matters—whether you’re there to inspire, share advice, or just show your HBCU pride.
- This is a space to connect, encourage, and pass the torch.
This event is open to all CMSD scholars and families, as well as students from other communities across Northeast Ohio. Whether you're from Cleveland, East Cleveland, Euclid, Warrensville, Akron, or anywhere in between—if you're HBCU Bound, this day is for YOU!
Wear your college gear, bring your loved ones, and get ready to be celebrated!
Let’s come together to uplift these scholars with the pride, purpose, and preparation they need for this next chapter.
