Join us this September in the heart of Washington D.C. for an extratordinary celebration of African heritage and culture!. This captivating event promises to be a regal experience like no other, immerse yourseld in the multidisciplinary arts, culture and humanities curated by louis Diene Faye Foundation, a 501 c3 non profit organization committed to fostering creativity, unity, and empowerment.

We honor the richness of Africa's past, present and future. The event is one way of sharing history, culture and traditions with our brothers and sisters that we have been Kings & Queens for generations and generations.

Event Details

The Kings & Queens of Africa event is one of the most unique cultural events that provides a diverse platform for underserd, underrepresented, and overlooked artitsts and performers, promotes cultural understanding, create positive social impact, and embraces the power of tradition, education, and celebration.

The event line-up includes free workshop,, vendor expo, interviews, auction,  a red carpet entrance, VIP reception and the Kings & Queens of Africa Final Show. The event will showcase the work of artists, comedians, storytellers, emerging boutique designers, fashion student designers, music & dance student performers, international designers, musicians, and a runway models from the DC Metropolitan Area.
