Since founding African American Marriage Counseling in 2003, over 2,000 couples have sat down on his black-tufted couch to fight for their relationships, marriages, and families. Dr. Shane rolled up his sleeves and got in the trenches with them to help them begin to develop the skills needed to hear (and be heard by) each other and to turn toward (instead of on) each other in times of conflict.
