PARKING – Please Plan Ahead!  While we have a parking lot, it can fill up, so here is some advice:
● Arrive early for events like this, you will have a better chance to find a parking space in our lot which has only 18 spots.
● If the lot is full, you can park for free on the street anywhere around the Art Center; however it can sometimes take 5-10 minutes to find a spot when people who live in the area are returning home from work on a Friday evening
● If you have a tough time parking directly around the Art Center, we suggest proceeding one block west of the Art Center, to Lake Park Blvd for street parking around Kenwood Academy.
● Finally, if none of the above work, Harper Court is located at 53rd and Lake Park, and has paid a paid, indoor parking lot. http://fiftythird.uchicago.edu/category/tags/harper-court

PUBLIC TRANSIT - CTA bus and Metra options
● CTA bus options are #6 and #28, both of which stop on 51st next to the Art Center.
● The #6 bus runs down State Street in the Loop (accessible from the red line, or a block from the brown/purple/pink lines).
● Metra’s “Metra Electric” line starts downtown or comes from further on south side, and stops at the “51st/53rd stop, right next to the Art Center. When exiting the train, proceed north to the 51st street exit, which exits just across the street from the south side of the Art Center.
