The Out West Block Party is a yearly community initiative hosted by For The Kids Media & Arts in partnership with DEE JEFF MEDIA. Started in 2019 as a way to combat the City’s ongoing gun violence, OWBP sets out to create a safe neighborhood environment for the youth to play and community residents to enjoy without fear of violence, while also providing much-needed resources to the community! OWBP also aims to motivate neighbors to get outside and get to know one another. There is no community without ‘unity!’
