Event Summary

 

This collaborative project is designed to provide education, motivation and skill-building on issues of responsibility and relationships.

This joint initiative involving the Lambda Phi Omega Chapter and Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated aims to educate, motivate, and enhance the skills of young males and females aged 12-18 on topics such as responsibility, relationships, teen pregnancy, and sexually transmitted diseases. Project Alpha, led by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, delivers a series of workshops and informational sessions to equip young men and women with up-to-date and accurate information on teen pregnancy prevention.

The Project Alpha programs are guided by three main goals:

1.Sharing Knowledge: Dispelling ignorance and fear by providing factual information.
2.Changing Attitudes: Motivating positive changes in sexual behavior.
3,Providing Skills: Fostering empowerment and self-esteem among participants
