Event Summary

"A Celebration of HBCU Love and Pride in the Queen City"

More Details

On August 10th, the biggest HBCU Homecoming will take over the campus of Johnson C. Smith University, and you are invited!

You’ve been waiting and we’ve been planning, and it's time for the biggest HBCU takeover right on the campus of our hometown HBCU JCSU.

If you missed the last Queen City HBCU Cookout, you missed a treat! We had over 40 local HBCU chapters representing, and it was an absolute good time. So, this year, we are packing out JCSU and calling all HBCU Alumni in the Charlotte and Surrounding area(s) to come out. Food, Vendors, Fun, Music by NCCU Alum DJ CK, Networking, and So Much More!

So come show your HBCU PRIDE and GET READY to have a HBCU good time as we are bringing the ultimate HBCU homecoming right to the Queen City!

Lawn chairs are welcomed, but absolutely no grills allowed as food will be provided with ticket purchase.

**Proceeds will go to Local HBCU Alumni Chapters to fund scholarships for area students. **
