About AFRICON

This multi-day in person conference is a celebration of African Excellence bringing together pop culture, music, food, innovation, activism, and more from the global Black diaspora. This event, which coincides with Africa Day, aims to celebrate the diversity of the African continent and the Diaspora through the lens of entertainment, media, technology, and leadership. 

Panel Topic: Leadership in the Age of AI: Cultivating a Powerful Ecosystem for the Black Community

Synopsis:

In the transformative era of AI, it's crucial to ensure equitable benefits for all. This panel addresses the importance of Black leadership in AI, the challenges faced by the Black community in this domain, and strategies for fostering an inclusive AI ecosystem. Join us to explore the role of education, community and responsible AI systems as we celebrate Black AI trailblazers, and discuss the path forward for a more inclusive AI-driven future.
