Join us for our FREE Rueda de Casino Workshop with Denita Inez! Developed in the 1950s, rueda de casino (wheel of salsa) is a dance genre shaped by several Cubanābased dance traditions, including salsa (called casino in Cuba), rumba, and son. Couples dance in a circle that is guided by a leader who indicates when to execute synchronized turns and partner exchanges. No partner required!
For the winter session, Rueda de Casino workshops are on the 4th Thursday on the month, February 22 and March 28, from 6:30-8:00pm at Dorchester Arts + Housing Collaborative: 1456 E 70th St, Chicago, IL 60637.
