Starting at 5:55 PM, this transformative event invites you to write down the things you wish to release from your life and ceremoniously burn them in the fire. Please bring your journal or notebook paper and a pen. Embrace the healing energy of the full moon, connect with like-minded individuals, and let go of what no longer serves you. Veterans and military families are especially welcome. All are invited to this evening of reflection, renewal, and community.

Early Morning Release Ritual

As twilight begins at 4:52 AM, join us for a serene morning release ritual. Reflect on what you wish to release and write it down. We'll set these intentions free as the moon sets, 7 degrees above the southwestern horizon, symbolizing the shedding of what no longer serves us.


Witness Jupiter shining brightly at 25 degrees above the eastern horizon and Mars at 33 degrees above the eastern horizon as you set your intentions for growth.


Evening Session: Shed & Grow

Time: 5:55 PM - 10:00 PM


Shaman Cortez Full Moon Release Shed & Grow at Promontory Point

Gather at 5:30 PM to prepare for a powerful full moon release ceremony starting at 5:55 PM. 

Write down the things you wish to release and ceremoniously burn them. As twilight ends at 9:37 PM, the moon will be 3 degrees above the east-southeastern horizon, perfect for embracing new beginnings.

Experience the magical evening sky with Vega, the brightest star in the constellation Lyra, appearing closest to overhead at 65 degrees above the eastern horizon. Mercury and Venus will also be visible low on the horizon.


 What to Bring:

 Journal or notebook paper and a pen

 Small biodegradable paper leaves (for morning session)

 Drums or percussion instruments (optional for evening drumming circle)

 ***Burning is Optional***
