Sketchy Nights! The popular vinyl and drawing workshop is now bi-monthly at Tangerine Gallery. For our February 7th sessions, we'll be sketching out prompts based on themes of heartbreaks, revenge, and letting go with The Weeknds My Dear Melancholy on vinyl. While creating your own masterpieces, get inspired by this months exhibition "Love & Paranoia" by visual artists Elijah Barnes and Peja.
What is Sketchy Nights?
Developed for artists of all levels looking for a hit of inspiration and community, Sketchy Nights is a monthly workshop powered by the Black Yuppie Creative House. Previously enjoyed by the staff at Cisco headquarters, patrons of Miyagi Records shop, and the community of Hyde park by way of The Network 0225.
Explore themes of our favorite albums while exercising those creative muscles through the art of sketching.
Each night will be uniquely tailored around the album of the night with a rotating group of collaborators, activities, and surprises!
Network with like minded peers and discover new perspectives through dialogue
Embark in a journey of childlike simplicity while exploring your own life; past, present, and future.
Not an active artist? No worries! Our workshop is a great social alternative to the usual mundane "Things To Do" outing with the objective of self reflection.
