SoulStar is a celebration of community and culture in a quickly evolving and diversifying town. In response to the social demands concerning black and minority economic empowerment and a means to unify the community, our event aims to create a family-friendly inclusive environment that celebrates black and brown culture. October is a great time for our concert as we are working in conjunction with Motherless Child, Incorporate, which provides assistance to women and children affected by domestic violence. This organization works closely with shelters in the surrounding areas that house women and children of domestic violence while providing gap services in Coweta for those women attempting to relocate safely. Additionally, this event is working to present safe entertainment opportunities that practice social distancing in a Covid-19 conscious environment but allow the community to continue necessary communal, yet safe engagement.
