SH Conversations Presents: The Value of Investing in Art

 Join Shanklin in our first of many conversations surrounding our pillars: Community, Creativity, and Wellness. The Value of Investing in Art will be a conversation between Cierra Britton, gallerist, curator, and art dealer, and Ciarra K. Walters, an incredible interdisciplinary artist, and Chela Mitchell, director and founder of her eponymous gallery, and an art advisor at CMA. Cierra Britton, Ciarra K. Walters, and Chela Mitchell are all DMV born and raised though they have found themselves journeying around the nation and world to make significant contributions to the contemporary art world. For our community this conversation will be an opportunity to hear about the backgrounds of these incredible trailblazers, further insight into becoming a burgeoning art collector, and the value of investing in artists and art.
