Honoring Trailblazers: The CA Black Women’s Trailblazer Hall of Fame Awards
The California Black Women’s Trailblazer Hall of Fame Awards is the first awards ceremony dedicated to uplifting and honoring Black women leaders across the state. Created to celebrate the achievements of trailblazing women who have made a profound impact, the event recognizes excellence in advocacy, corporate leadership, civil rights, legal, entertainment, labor, and more.
Our inaugural events were held in 2022 in both Northern and Southern California, honoring 100 dynamic women—including Hon. Karen Bass, Hon. Maxine Waters, Tia Orr, Crystal Crawford, and Yolanda Richardson. In 2024, we proudly recognized 70 additional Black women leaders, such as Yvonne Wheeler, Fran Jemmott, Councilwoman Heather Hutt, Hon. Cheryl Brown, and Kim Carter Tillman.
This year’s celebration will take place on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Luxe Hotels in Los Angeles, CA, uniting honorees from across the state, including regions like Far North, Bay Area, Central Valley, Los Angeles, Inland Empire, Orange County, and San Diego.
