As Chicago’s fashion industry continues to grow, we recognize the importance of collaboration and conversation. "Unzipped: The State of Fashion in Chicago" is a mixer and panel event that brings together Chicago’s fashion figures to share their experiences and perspectives in an interactive, relaxed conversation with the community audience.

Beyond networking, this is also an opportunity to inspire youth and aspiring designers, models, and other fashion professionals by showcasing creative entrepreneurship and community-driven work. We aim to support and celebrate Black and minority communities in fashion, and work towards building a more inclusive local industry. No hierarchies here—everyone is invited to engage and get to know each other in a space that’s focused on community and building opportunities.
