Liability Waiver and Release of Claims for DHS Class of 2005 Event at Shands Park
By purchasing a ticket and/or attending this event event, I hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
1. Assumption of Risk I understand that attending this event, which includes food, alcoholic beverages, and entertainment, involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, accidents, or damage to personal property. I voluntarily assume all such risks associated with my participation in this event.
2. Release of Liability I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, assigns, and personal representatives, hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless the organizers of the Vibe With '05 Reunion event, Shands Park, and all affiliated personnel, vendors, sponsors, and volunteers from any claims, liabilities, actions, damages, costs, or expenses that may arise from my participation in this event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
3. Alcohol Consumption I understand that alcoholic beverages may be available at the event, and I agree to consume alcohol responsibly. I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for my behavior, any actions resulting from my alcohol consumption, and any consequences arising from my failure to do so. The event organizers shall not be liable for any injury, damage, or loss related to alcohol consumption.
4. Personal Responsibility for Minors I understand that while children are welcome to attend the event, it is my responsibility to ensure their safety and well-being. I acknowledge that children are not encouraged to attend and that I assume all risks and responsibilities for any minors under my care attending this event.
5. Health and Safety I agree to follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by the event organizers, including but not limited to adhering to any local or state health and safety regulations that may be in effect at the time of the event.
6. Photography and Media Release I understand that photos and videos may be taken during the event for promotional or social media purposes. By attending, I grant the event organizers permission to use images or recordings of myself for such purposes without compensation.
7. Governing Law This waiver and release shall be governed by the laws of the state of Virginia. Any legal proceedings related to this waiver shall take place within the state.
By purchasing a ticket or attending the event, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this Liability Waiver and Release of Claims.
