We Got Us - Session 2: Designing Our Self-Care for 2025

Join us for the second installment of "We Got Us", a monthly wellness series at Shanklin Hall, where we cultivate space for emotional support and connection within the Black community.

Building on our mission of fostering vulnerability, self-expression, and authentic relationships, the session on March 19 will explore what it means to embrace joy as an act of self-care and how we can intentionally design our well-being practices for the year ahead.

With a "Wellness Wednesdays" mindset, our experienced facilitators, Mahelet Kebede and Rachel (Rae) Browning, will guide participants through engaging discussions and experiential activities. Together, we’ll craft intentional self-care strategies for 2025 through an interactive activity.

This is more than a conversation—it’s a sanctuary where your voice is heard, your experiences are honored, and your well-being is prioritized. In a world that often demands our resilience, we are reclaiming our right to thrive. We got us.

For this event we are providing materials for an interactive activity, so please remember to RSVP, so we can make sure we have enough materials for all our cousins.
