A M.A.D.D. Rhythms Experience

Join us on March 30, 2024, for A M.A.D.D. Rhythms Experience. This is your chance to really sink your teeth into who we are and what we offer the community and beyond. Ever had a curiosity for tap but was too afraid to try it? Or perhaps you didn’t have the resources readily available to you to explore the art form? Now is your chance!

This is a private event for select influencers, tastemakers, journalists, and business leaders to give you an intimate VIP opportunity to:

Meet and greet with members of the internationally acclaimed dance company M.A.D.D. Rhythms
Have an opportunity to sample tap and various other African diasporic dance forms
Develop a greater understanding of the impact of tap and M.A.D.D. Rhythms throughout Chicago, the nation, and the world.
Capture incredible photos for sharing or your personal collection.
Learn how you and/or your organization can partner with M.A.D.D. Rhythms to continue making a difference

Attire: We want you to dance with us, so wear comfortable clothing that you can dance and sweat in. DRESS COMFORTABLE. BE READY TO DANCE!

Shoes: Don't have tap shoes? No problem! We will have a tap available on-site. You can also purchase at Wesley's Shoes, 1506 E. 55th St., Chicago, IL 60615 (mention Vanessa Abron and you'll get a discount). For the other class option, please wear sneakers or dance barefoot.

Event Flow:

4 p.m. Check-in | Meet and greet | Refreshments (4 p.m. - 5 p.m.)

5:00 p.m. Mini dance workshops (15-mins each class) - includes Chicago Footwork, Stepping, African, and Tap

6:30 p.m. Fireside chat w/MADD Rhythms

7 p.m. Tap Jam | All guests

7:30 p.m. M.A.D.D Rhythms Demo

8 p.m. Close of event
