We cordially invite you to the “A Very Black & Chill“ Function): A social gathering curated for invited guests, where eating, drinking, and entertainment will occur. We call this a “Function ” or (Kickback) and we’re here to show you how Jersey (Essex County) does it!

Growing up on the East Coast comes with a world full of culture and challenge and we’re here to help you experience it. Jersey holds a different type of grit, hustle, swagger and determination. Like most urban black & brown communities, both the experience and journey makes us who we are.

Despite the adversity associated with those of low-income inner cities, the beauty & pride that is rooted in each city’s culture over shadows any negative narrative. The function is the space we can gather unapologetically and bask in who we’re and what we’ll become.
