It will be a holiday weekend of Reggae, Afrobeat, World Music, carnival-style jubilation, dancehall, merrymaking, shopping, eating, drinking, products branding, games and family fun and more marking the famous 31st Annual African/Caribbean International Festival of Life (IFOL) a family celebration to remember. The IFOl will be combined with the 42nd Annual Chicago Music Awards (CMA), Chicago's biggest day of honors and entertainment, featuring the berst of chicagoland entertainers in all categories of musicon Friday, July 5th, .
The Festival of Life runs from Independence day, Thursday through Sunday, July
4th - 7th, 2024 from noon/12:00pm – 10:00 pm at Washington Park - DuSable Sunken Garden, 55th Street and South Cottage Grove, Chicago, the IFOL will feature a galaxy of entertainers from Caribbean to African, R&B to Blues, Jazz, Gospel, Latin, Hip Hop, Dancehall and more. Games, food, arts, crafts and educational activities for you to experience a true Independence celebration.
In addition there will be a IFOL/CMA Best Song Contest on YouTube.com/IRAWMA, and the two - minute song must mention what Chicago Music Awards and the Festival of Life has been doing for the music and cultural community over forty years. Submit song in mp4 format to [email protected].

The African/Caribbean International Festival of Life (IFOL) and the Chicago Music Awards combined is an all age events that is free to children under twelve years of age and early promotional fees start from $10 and up, while available, and VIP discounted 50% or two for one in advance @ www.internationalfestivaloflife.com or chicagomusicawards.org.
