Event Summary

All proceeds from Afrofuture Fest go to Feedom Freedom Growers farm.

The theme of Afrofuture Fest 2023 is
Communal Sufficiency - strategic organizing with neighbors or comrades to share labor and efforts related to collective care and meeting material and holistic needs in right relationship with the Earth. It is informed by political education, ideological development, and the survival and communal practices of our ancestors.

This year's festival is a homecoming as Afrofuture Youth celebrates the phasing out of our organization and the merger of our programming (wellness political education, and organizing) with Feedom Freedom Growers through an intergenerational lens.

Join us as we celebrate the possibility of African Liberated Futures by uplifting our existence outside the realms of capitalist infrastructure. We are excited about what's next and can't wait to see you.
