It is our pleasure to invite you to the 2023 Alpha Phi Alpha Day at the Capitol, hosted by the District of Illinois and Mu Delta Lambda Chapter. This year's event is the first time in-person since 2019. We have planned an informative and action-packed event. We hope you will join us for this year’s Alpha Day at the Capitol!
The welcome reception will be hosted at Truth Lounge at 7 PM on April 18, 2023. The following morning we will host our Annual Breakfast, with legislative updates from our legislative members, present the Eddie Jones, Jr. Civic Engagement Award, and prepare for advocacy at the Illinois State Capitol. The event will also be attended by various special guests, including some of Illinois’ statewide officials and more.
