The Art of War Benefit: Bazaar, Concert, & Art Exhibit
Join us on November 3rd for The Art of War Benefit: Bazaar, Concert, & Art Exhibit, a day-long event in support of Palestine, Lebanon, Sudan, and the Congo. This event celebrates Chicago’s activism and honors those who have sacrificed their lives.
Event Highlights:
- Bazaar (12:30 PM – 4:30 PM): Kick off the day with a vibrant bazaar featuring Palestinian businesses and organizations dedicated to the cause.
- Art Exhibition (12:30 PM – 4:30 PM): 'Times of War', works by children from the Mayasi Refugee Camp and the Mayasem Association of Culture and Arts in Khan Yunis, Gaza. 'Landscapes Under the Rubble', featuring destroyed pieces from Gaza by artists Basel Almaqousui, Dina Mattar, Majed, Mohamed Abusal, Raed Issa, Rana Batrawi, Shareef Sarhan, and Sohail Salam. 'The Forum', prompting starting at 4PM, a 45 minute session of interactive collective painting encouraging the free flow of consiousess and comradery.
- Film Screening (2 PM): 'From Ground Zero', A moving documentary by 22 Gazan filmmakers, chronicling life in the besieged Gaza Strip. Presented by Watermelon Pictures, this is Palestine's 2025 Academy Awards entry for Best International Film.
- Concert (5 PM): Live Performances featuring Norhan, Eddy Mack, SamerMadeIt, Workrate, Abe NYC, Sammy Shiblaq, Samia, El Theeb, Noorxo, Nadine El Roubi, Waheeb Nasan, Michael Hakim, Amira Jazeera, Abe Batshon, Samia, Abu Batata, A.Rob, Konstancy, Michael Hakim, & Esa Mighty. Local and Visiting Speakers such as Hamzah Saadah, Vivian Khalaf, Bfendyy, Steve Sosebee, Tarek Khalil (AMP), Mutasem Mousassa (SJP), Yara Daoud (ALHUB), Maya Hussein, Tamir Khalil, Yolanda Judeh (ALHUB), Maher Joudi, Nedaa Alwawi (TJCA), Reema The Caucasian Arab, Sadia Nawab (ALHUB), Connie & Summer, & Thaer AlKiswani.

This family-friendly event welcomes all ages (parental guidance is advised for explicit music). NO ALCOHOL WILL BE SERVED. All proceeds will support Palestinian relief and cultural awareness efforts.
