Collectively with the following organizing groups, MEDCEEP, Project LOVE Chicago, Sneakers to Scrubs, and South Side Free Clinic, The University of Chicago Urban Health Initiative, aims to connect south-side youth to vital resources, leveraging UChicago's support to make a significant impact. While the University of Chicago is the city’s biggest and most busy trauma center, we felt it was imperative to host a Back to School Event to help advocate for Violence Prevention, Intervention, & Recovery.
