UIU Chicago and NAPA are hosting a beach hangout at Oak Street Beach (1000 N. Lake Shore Drive at Oak Street and Lake Michigan, near the Gold Coast/Streeterville neighborhoods) from 2 PM to 6 PM. At 1:45 PM, we will meet at Whispers Restaurant at Oak Street Beach to finalize our spot on the beach together.
We'd love to use this opportunity to hang out and celebrate the start of summer. Feel free to bring snacks or drinks (water/soda). Please note that Chicago Park District rules prohibit alcohol and smoking on the beach, and we ask that you adhere to these rules.
Don't forget to bring sunscreen, a chair/blanket/towel to sit on, and your swimsuit if you plan to swim.
We hope you can join us to enjoy the company of fellow UIU Chicago and NAPA members and take in the beautiful views of our city as we kick off the summer months.
