Strivers' Row & Gentlemen’s Factory invite you to The Black Entrepreneurs in NYC Networking Soiree.

The holidays have traditionally been the busiest time of year for small businesses and the National Retail Federation projects an 8.5-10.5% increase in sales activity during the holiday months of November and December 2021. Following the 2020 holiday season, where retailers saw a 26.6% increase in online commerce, the pandemic-related shift to e-commerce is the way of the present and the future.

Join us as we kickoff the campaign and introduce the “Shop Your City: BE NYC” Holiday Marketing Campaign that features Black businesses in NYC.

The “Shop Your City: BE NYC” Holiday Marketing Campaign Kickoff Event is an activation to:

Promote NYC’s Black-owned businesses and encourage New Yorkers to support them during the critical holiday season;

Learn more about BE NYC’s and accomplishments over the year; and build community with NYC entrepreneurs and professionals.

About BE NYC

The City of New York is committed to building a stronger and fairer City by creating opportunities for all, safeguarding the American Dream, and addressing the racial wealth gap.

In September 2019, the NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) launched Black Entrepreneurs NYC (BE NYC), a first-of-its kind initiative in any major American city to address the racial wealth gap by empowering Black entrepreneurs. BE NYC aims to provide pathways to achieve systemic change, creating equitable opportunities for wealth generation in the Black community through business ownership.
