What is the purpose of BLKQUEST?
BLKQUEST is a citywide scavenger hunt that invites everyone to use hiihat.com to find and experience the best in black-owned and black-founded companies.
This event is presented by Hiihat.com, a search engine like Google that puts the search for all things Black, all in one place. Participants will use this website to find the answers to clues, complete challenges, and reach their destinations.
How do we participate?
Buy your tickets online at blkquest.com. You and your team member(s) should arrive at the starting location by 12:45pm to get signed up. You will be asked to sign a waiver if you did not complete it electronically. Teams must have at least 2 people and cannot have more than 5 people. Solo participants cannot compete for the grand cash prize, but they can participate and win prizes along the way.
Does it cost anything to participate?
Get your tickets early for $5 per person.
Before event day, general tickets will increase to $10 per person.
On event day, tickets are $20 per person.
Participants must be over 18 years old or accompanied by an adult.
To consume alcoholic beverages at any clue destination, participants must be 21 years old and will be banded accordingly.
How do we win the grand prize?
The first team to return to the ending location with the most clues answered and most challenges completed correctly by 4:00 pm is the winner.
How do I win other prizes?
Different clue destinations and challenges will offer prizes throughout the scavenger hunt. You will have several chances to win big and enjoy!
I’m a student, how can I participate?
We love students! We have a limited amount of free tickets to help students take advantage of this event and that grand prize. Get them while supplies last!
I’m under 18, how can I participate?
Easy! Have at least one other team member that is an adult, aged 18 and up, then you’re set! They will sign your waiver as parents and/or guardians for this event.
