Community Service Event: Dallas Life

We are thrilled to announce our ongoing partnership with Dallas Life as we remain committed to Investing in our Community for our Quarter for Cause initiative. Dallas Life, a faith-based homeless recovery center, plays a vital role in providing shelter and support for those in need. Housing up to 500 individuals each night, Dallas Life ensures that all guests receive three balanced meals every day, 365 days a year.

One remarkable aspect of Dallas Life's services is their provision of individual family rooms, catering to married couples and parents with children, offering them a safe haven during challenging times.

We invite you to mark your calendars for Saturday, February 10th, from 9 am - 12:00 pm as we come together to make a tangible difference in the lives of those served by Dallas Life. Join us for a day of active participation, as we engage in donation sorting and foster creativity by crafting arts and crafts with the children currently residing in the shelter.

Dress code: 

No leggings/exercise/yoga pants or tights pants in general. UIU shirt may be work or shorts with an appropriate neckline that covers the midriff. Please wear closed-toed shoes (no sandals).

Thedfasy are located directly across I-30 from the Dallas Convention Center between Lamar and Griffin Streets. They have 2 lots that offer free parking: One is on the side of the building by the entrance and the other is at the rear of the building. Both are accessible via the main gate on Cadiz Street.

There is a maximum of 15 volunteers and a required background check. Please RSVP no later than Thursday, February 8th at 12pm.
