Event Details
The day will be filled with festivities and educational seminars that will be held on April 13, 2024 from 10:00am-4:00pm at Olive-Harvey College 10001 S Woodlawn Ave, Chicago, IL 60628. We are organizing this event to encourage and support financial literacy, home ownership and self-sufficiency. We will have lenders on-site to provide 50 new home loan pre-approvals (income verification required). Therefore, we have designed a program to aid and provide resources to all participants.
The goals of the program are to:
• Educate, support and offer resources to first time home buyers
• Provide credit counseling and encourage savings
• Educate, support, and offer resources to sellers and real estate investors
• Provide loan modification guidance
• Introduce the financial benefits of insurance, trusts, and wills
• Provide financial literacy education to youth
• Provide job assistance
