Aaron Young is a Yoga Practitioner, and case manager specializing in mind and body connection, and Therapeutic Yoga practices. He has worked with adolescents of color (12-24) managing trauma and the impacts of racism. He has supported student and professional athletes to build and restore awareness of their bodies' capacity as well as challenge their bodies agility with the adaptation of mindfulness practices and yoga.
As a certified Yoga instructor, my practice encompasses the mind and body connection to develop association to physical sensations internally and externally using meditation practices to understand the “citta vritti” or mental fluctuations of the mind. Together we can seek the truth from within to support the development of community members' capacity to provide any services needed from within their community.
Join me in building my practice monthly in my donation-based community classes. These classes are beginner-level yoga classes. Bring water and your mat. (There will be limited mats available) Arrive on time to the session you desire.
