Hosted by Sunday Forever, this special retreat is dedicated to embracing self-love and wellness through a series of mindful activities. Join us for a transformative day of self-healing, meditation, friendship, and creativity.

• Yoga & Sound Bath: Experience calming yoga sessions paired with a revitalizing sound bath to soothe and refresh your spirit.
• Guided Writing Workshops: Ignite your creativity and introspection with our guided writing exercises.

• A portion of the proceeds will support Sunday Forever's New Roots Foundation Generational Wealth Housing Grant. 

In addition to the retreat, join us for a Community Hike on September 14, 2024, at Cedar Ridge Preserve! Connect with nature and each other, arriving by 8 AM for a restorative stretch and walk. Here’s a quick overview to help you prepare:

Event Duration & Schedule:

The event will be four hours long. We’ll kick things off at 1:00 PM. After yoga + sound bath, we’ll have a guided writing session led by the Sunday Forever founder. Lunch, sponsored by Packin Bowls, will be served, followed by our self-care vision board party.
Parking & Arrival:

Free parking is available. Doors will open at 1 PM, and we’ll start with a welcoming writing activity and sea moss shots sponsored by Eden Esthetics guests arrive.  

What to Bring: Please bring a journal. We’ll have water and snacks available, but feel free to bring anything else you might need. Dress comfortably!

Meet Your Instructors: 

Mika Gipson, a certified Yoga, Pilates and Sound facilitator is dedicated to holistic healing and wellness. She is passionate about the advantages of both physical and spiritual well-being, empowering her students to live with intention, inspiring them to become the highest version of themselves, inside and out.

Abeni Phillips is the founder of Sunday Forever, which started in 2020 as an illustrated newsletter on Substack with only 100 subscribers and now hosts events in Dallas and Los Angeles. Born in Dallas, Texas, on February 4, 1993, Abeni is a writer, producer, and artist living in Dallas and Los Angeles. She has worked independently for Westbrook Inc., Netflix, OWN, VH1, and BET. For over six years, her curiosity and artistic imaginings have significantly impacted the film, public relations, and events industries. Her notable projects include Dave Chappelle's *The Bird Revelation* and *Sticks & Stones*, HBO's *All Def Comedy*, and most recently, as a Publicity Assistant, Netflix's *The Brothers Sun*. Abeni also oversaw all the creative social elements and public relations for Happy Place TV.
